Q. Can we bring our pet?
A. This will be reviewed on a case by case basis.

Q. Can we smoke in the cottage?
A. Absolutely no smoking in the cottage. Smoking is allowed outside only. We are very allergic to cigarette smoke and it is hard to get the smell out of the cottage.

Q. Will linens/towels be provided?
A. Yes, we provide all bedding, pillows, linens and towels.

Q. Will we need to bring dishes and cutlery?
A. No, we provide everything you need in the kitchen except consumables.

Q. Is the water safe to drink?
A. No. We do provide bottles of drinking water for your convenience. There is also a municipal water drinking station for free refills.

Q. Is the lake water nice to swim in?
A. Yes, our cottage is on a beautiful point, isn’t weedy, and is wonderful to swim in.

Q. Should we bring our food up with us or buy it up there?
A. There are a number of supermarkets, LCBOs, and convenience stores located in Gravenhurst and Bracebridge. Our cottage is only a 10 minute drive away from both towns.

Q. Is there a hospital near by?
A. Yes. The South Muskoka Memorial Hospital is 9 km from our cottage.

Q. Can we dock a boat at your cottage?
A. Yes. Our dock and water depth (approximately 6-7 feet deep) is excellent for docking your boat.

Q. Is your cottage winterized?
A. No. Our cottage is a 3 season cottage with a wood stove and electric baseboard heaters.

Q. How many parking spots are on your property?
A. You can easily fit 4 cars/trailers on our property.

Q. Do you have any municipal services that we should be aware of?
A. Yes. Both garbage and recycling pick up occur every Friday.

Q. How big is your dock?
A. Our dock is 8′ x 37′ with a west exposure, offering sun all day and beautiful sunsets in evening.

Q. How many people can stay at your cottage?
A. We allow a maximum of 8 people at the cottage.

Q. Which way does your cottage face?
A. Our cottage faces west. We get all day sun and beautiful sunsets from our deck, dock and fire pit.
